You are not trying to connect the steering controls to a non vauxhall head unit without the relavant interface are you

Thats just some of the problems with some of these Cheesy Chinese units - if thats all you have found to be wrong, then I would say that you have done very well.

Sorry to add further to your dissapointment, but the unit is not compatable with the Omega steering controls, and its doubtfull that an interface will ever be developed to allow this to work in the forseeable future.

It isn`t - you get what you pay for, and I`m sorry to tell you that your cheesy chinese unit for £100 does not have any sat nav capability - but to be fair, it doesn`t say anywhere on that spec that it should.

There is a reason that good quality car audio commands such a high price, and sadly it is only from being ripped off in this way that you are closer to understanding this a little better.

Actually, I have some good news for you. The unit is not sat nav compatable, but it is listed as such in teh small print of teh description, and if you contacted ebay, I reckon that this is a good reason for you to be able to return it for a full refund as it has been incorrectly advertised
