HI EVERYONE, NOT BEEN ON HERE LONG SO IM NOT SURE IF IM DOING IT RIGHT OR NOT, SO HERE GOES.
I HAVE 2 PROBLEMS THE 1st IS
MY CENTRAL LOCKING DOES`NT WORK, I HAVE TRIED THE WAY OTHERS HAVE TOLD ME BY PUTTING KEYS IN AND TURNING TILL LIGHTS COME ON, THEN PRESSING BUTTONS ON KEY FOB, BUT ITS NOT WORKING AND THE LIGHTS ARE COMING ON THE KEY FOB SO I KNOW ITS NOT THE BATTERY.
MY 2nd IS
THERE IS SOME SORT OF FAULT WITH "I THINK" WIRING FROM INSIDE MY STEERING WHEEL IF I TAP THE WHEEL OR GO OVER A BUMP MY STEREO GOES ON AND OFF.  MY BUTTONS ON THE WHEEL TO WORK THE STEREO, DONT WORK. I WAS GOING TO HAVE A GO AT TALKING THE WHEEL OFF MYSELF BUT BEEN TOLD TO GO TO A QUALIFIED TECHNICIAN. PUT ME RIGHT OFF HE DID.
I DO HAVE ANOTHER PROBLEM, BUT THAT WILL DO ANOTHER DAY.
HOPE SOMEONE CAN HELP
MANY THANKS

Pull the stereo out and check all connections are in correctly, and stop shouting.

Be carefull if playing with the steering wheel to observe any airbag safety precautions and discharging instructions - never play with airbags with battery connected or within 30 mins of disconnection.

And as previously mentioned, typing in CAPITAL letters is reagrded as SHOUTING at someone, and is generally frowned upon on forums.

You can take the airbag off to check the wires, without removing the steering wheel. Just make sure there is no power on.

1) did the fob work at any time with the car if not it might need pairing with the car,

2)  do the other doors lock when you lock the drivers door with the key

what model/spec  omega do you have
