NCDC 2013 (3.0 display & h/u into 3.2)
« on: 16 August 2009, 18:45:05 »

This is an ongoing saga with Beconboy and his NCDC 2013.  What we have done today for reasons only know to myself and BB is to remove the 3.0 NCDC 2013 & Display and put it into the 3.2 and vice versa.  Now everything works on the 3.2 except the fuel computer is all out saying 7.1 m/g all the time and used 8 gallons of fuel on a run of 40 miles.  Would a session with Tech II sort this out or are we barking up the wrong tree.  I'm assuming the display needs to Tech II into the ECU.

Now the 3.0 is only showing time, date on display.  No radio stations or fuel computer or anything else.  Is it possible the 3.2 Display is not compatable with the 3.0 :question

We are in need of any advice so please help :'(

The display needs to be tech2'd to be told correct engine type if you want fuel computer to be accurate. Having the wrong engine config won't otherwise affect anything beyond fuel computer readings

Thanks TB

I can understand the working NCDC and display needing Tech II, would that bode true though for the 3.0 that is now not functioning, or is there something more sinister going on?
