It is a bad time to get loans Martin - banks are pretty nervous about credit - many card companies also closing accounts etc to reduce what they think is a "risky customer" etc Not saying you are - but banks are hard to satisfy just now in general.

Dont try to many companies  ;)

My boss knows an IFA - so I have passed it to him.

Not moving my current account now
