LED Headlights

Has anyone tried the LED headlight bulbs that replace the standard H1 bulbs.There seems to be a lot for sale on fleebay

I havent tried it myself.

Also, the general opinion on here is that LEDs looks gay on headlights  :D ::) :-X

led side lights look better if youve got hid's. as the sidelight bulbs look wrong in colour. one of the new out cars has led headlights( its not the audi, they look like an overdone house at christmas). if i had an audi, id drive at night with the lights off :o

bought LED's from ebay before and it seems a bit hit and miss.All am worried with the headlight LED's is
1.are they bright enough as some LED's seem bright but don't give a good a light area as normal bulbs.
2.are they legal
3.what do you do with the bulb failure warning on dash. :-/

i had them in the MV6 for the 501 sidebulbs & foggies just to tie everything up with the Xenons

what i detest is clapped out old Audi A3's & A4s that some boy racer has fitted the aftermarket audi style led's too but the problem is the cars a P Reg! and everyone knows its not a new one
