Unbelieveable! Why are the autorities poncing about with speed cameras when those statistics are around?

They should park an ANPR camera and a mobile crusher by the side of the road somewhere and start clearing them up.

.. or would that be "inciting racial hatred"?  :-X

i was in an accident in Grimsby in 05, the Asian chap while very ameanable and helpful at the time, (we were shunted in my Passat by this guy) but it was not the same man that showed up in court for the hearing LAST SEPTEMBER in Preston crown court, when we informed our solisitor he informed the judge who said prove it, so we did, i still had the photo,s of the scene on my phone and a photo that was not used in the case of the driver who we dealt with, it was then that the guy suggested to his insurances brief that he may have lent it to his mate for the day, their case was thrown out and we won. They took us to court on the premis that we were trying it on, turns out that it was his own insuree, lol The judge was not a happy chapy.

These statistics are derived from police reports regarding cars they stopped and checked their documents.

As most statistics, it is misleading... it does not imply that the percentage of the uninsured cars in the sample stopped by police is the same in the greater population... in fact all it implies is that the police in Bradford are far better at spotting potential insurance evaders than other police forces in the country.

And for those who still doubt this, who are the police more likely to stop, an M-reg Toyota driven at night round Bradford's industrial areas, or a new Merc S500 driven at day time in the city centre?
