Clarion DUZ388RMP

Has anyboby fitted a Clarion DUZ388RMP 2 Din head unit into a facelift miggy if so how hard or easy was it. I saw it in a post some while ago DaveDND recomended it as one of the best I just want to know basically will it fit cheers :-?

would think it would fit just need the wire kit or converter kit.

Looks great and the spec sounds good - bloody good price too, especially for a Clarion. :o 8-)
Not sure if you'd get the best out of it with standard speakers though.

Hmmmm...might get one for the Carlton for it's Xmas pressie..............

Like any head unit in the Omega, its a tight fit !!

Thanks for your help guys, still not sure which way to go. whether to go with a JVC head unit I already have a new head unit like the Clarion or an FM modulator decisions decisions decisions  :-/

Thats a no-brainer !!  Clarion !!

FM modulator is the best of a last resort to keep the existing head unit running, and I would never ever consider fitting a JVC (The Boy dislikes Sony with a passion, I am the same about JVC)

Thats no problem at all, I can do a similar spec unit in single Din if thats what you want

Got a JVC DAB unit in my mig, had it 2 years got no complaints and it works off the steering wheel controlls. :)

We`ve located the one that works !! Knew that there had to be one out there somewhere.

Seriously though, I would suggest to never turn it on again, in case it breaks . . . and it will

The JVC head unit I have was in my previous pre facelft mig for over 2 years I never had a problem with it, it was faultless. Er indoors has had a Sony in her car for 4 years never had a problem with that one either :y
