Nope, no pre-outs on that one.

Howwever, if you wanted to use an amp, you could always try one of these

This will give you front and rear pre-outs from the speaker outputs. How you connect the amps is really up to you, but if I understand correctly, the answer is Yes, this should do the same.

If you only want to amp the rear, I could also supply a similar lead with only rear RCA`s on.

If you are looking to spend money on a new system you should seriously consider fitting a Bose system from one of the breakers on OOF. It won't allow you to play MP3's but for something IRO £75 you will get a cracking sound.

There is plenty of help on here as to what you would need to do.

Also, when you have the door cards off you could easily fit the door kerb lights - I know that as I did it to my MV6 once, the 2 wires are there ready to plug in behind the door cards, all you need is the holes cutting, the lights x 4 and Elite lower front door pockets - of which I just so happen to have a set!  ;) ;) ;)

Why ?? I thought we liked Bose?

BTW, I've got a new centre console - hybrid wood effect with manual controls. Wo'nt be fitting it for a week or so and will then put the "new" 800 in which you helped me on.

Have deffo not forgotten, just have so much to do to "finish" the car and time slips away ,,,,,,,,

Dave DND likes Bose like I like Sony ;D

To be honest though, if you want to retain the factory fit look, Bose is the best sound you will get from the car.

To me, Bose is more than good enough, particularly at modest volume levels, and allows me to retain the Vauxhall headunits, complete with satnav/phone functionality.

Agree TB, 100%. I also think that anything that looks non-standard is also saying steal me to the tea-leaves out there ..
