i like Bose too, has a nice round full sound, and it factory fit look. I'll upgrade mine if i get the chance / bother factor  ;D

But you can still retain the factory look by simply changing the speakers behind the door cards

The doors will still look like they always did, and the sound quality can be vastly superior to the Bose system. You can even add subs under the seats to keep them out of sight

There really is so much you can do instead  :)

think i am going to leave it till after xmas and then sit down and decide on what to have, Dave have you ever seen or sold the mtx jackhammer i may turn the mig into a custom/show car and buy another one as a daily driver

I spent a good few years as an MTX dealer, and although I cannot fault the products, if I had approaching £8K to spend on a subwoofer, it would not be spent with MTX. If building a show car with that sort of budget in mind, you need to decide very carefully where you are going with it.

Are you building it for looks, in which case there are many subs that look similar to the jackhammer for a fraction of the price, or are you building it for performance, in which case there are significantly better.

Forget the hyped up TV claims of pimp my ride and other US brands - anything will look and sound good with £100K pumped into it
