Do the radio controls on the steering wheel, secure to the airbag cover or do they screw onto a bracket on the steering wheel ,under the airbag cover?

Thanks for info,Lee.
Are both steering wheels then interchangable..wheel without side radio controls but has airbag...can the airbag and side radiocontrols then  be taken off another wheel and fitted ?or is their a fixing on steering wheel body which stops this.

The radio controls come off but not sure about the connections behind the wheel (horn, airbag etc.). I know the mini and facelift are interchangable.

Just found after google search that steering wheels with radio controls have fixing points secured into body of wheel,so looks like the prospect of fitting radio controls to a wheel designed without them could be a bit more complicated now.
