Temp gauge gone screwy
« on: 24 December 2009, 19:52:44 »

My temp gauge has started saying its 34 deg C outside. It was OK yesterday. I would have thought if it had gone open it would have read a constant high temp, but it varys a bit.

Any ideas ?.

More than likely the sensor has failed.  Only a few quid new and a doddle to replace.

would first take it off as the rubber seal may have let some water in that sends them screwy.

Ken, the facelift has a multiway connector behind the bumper which can get a bit of water in it, give it a check (passenger side I seem to recall)
