You need to tell us how old the car is. On the info you have given it could be almost any age.

There would be a choice of 2:

CCR600
CCRT700

The way to tell is by looking the info display to the left of the instruments. If its "full height" then its the CCR600, if its got a gap about a 1/4 of the way up from the bottom and full width then it will be the CCRT700.

The 700 has a built in phone and only needed a SIM card plugging in to give full hands free functionality.

Another way of telling is by removing your radio - if the top row of the radio connectors (the top one is wider than the other 2) has 2 rows of pins its a 600, if it has 3 rows of pins its a 700.

Also, the radio cage for the 700 has 2 aerial coax connectors (one bottom right, the other top right as you look into the cage), wheras the 600 only has one coax connector which is in the bottom right.

The units are non-interchangeable.

You can get them easily enough on ebay - but make sure that you get the code as well.

I've just thought - you may even have the "car pass" code card in with your vehicle docs. This  will show the model number of the radio as a 600 or 700 - and will also advise you the code number of the CD changer if its still there.

HTH ........... Rob

Also the CCRT 700 will have the mic for the habds free up where the rear view mirror is mounted.

Good thought, but actually, for MY99 this was fitted as standard as part of the telephone prep kit which could have been factory fitted, so I didn't want to confuse things by pointing out a possible red-herring.

Well, you say gubbins, but you only need the radio and a suitable CD changer and you are away as all the wiring is in place.

There is one on ebay for £30 with no code - but DND Dave can supply one (for a small fee) from the radio's serial number stamped into the case.

As it happens I've got a suitable changer (with code) which was bought in error. PM me if you are interested.

So, for about £80 you are back to as fitted with a built in hands free mobile phone too that gives you dialing etc from the steering wheel.

Regards ........... Rob

In other words - directly the opposite from going back to OE fit - which is which the OP wanted .....
