Hazard switch removal?
« on: 07 January 2010, 16:32:40 »

Nice n easy for someone!!!
Can someone tell me how to remove the hazard light switch, i have taken the front cover of and i am faced with the red switch with two black lugs(?), i have tried pushing them together which i preesume releases the catch, but mine wont budge,so do i need a little more heaving on it.i did not want to prize it of and break it.
I only want to see if i can change the bulb in it, is that possible or is it a fixed unit.

Usually very tight, press the two lugs together and pull very hard... if not you can also try levering it with a small flat blade, often easier with the ashtray removed.

Thanks for that, i did not want to heave on it too much in case of it snapping !
Do you know about the bulb in it?

Cheers, i finally had a go at removel, i see what you meant by tight.
Got it out without breaking it(just).Did not realise that its a sealed unit, so cant replace the blown bulb,so is it new one needed then?
Thanks again
