Wndscdreen wash fluid level warning.
« on: 04 February 2010, 15:30:38 »

This came on a couple of days, so yesterday I topped it up expecting the warning to go, but it hasn't done, goes when I re-set, but continues on when I switch ignition on, with "check" still lit.

Surely it doesn't have to be re-set with diagnostic plug, tech 2 does it?

There's a float switch in the side of the bottle. It's either stuck or fubar'd  :y  :y  :y

My son suggested that was the problem as well actually. Is it easy to get to,  and remove, before I look?

The bottle lives behind your grille, and the float is just a push fit into a grommet at the back of it to the right of centre.  :y  :y  :y
