outside temperature sensor

my car is running at correct temperature. the outside temperature reading on the computer is very high and car heating only luke warm. i believe it could be a faulty outside temperature sensor. where can i find this sensor. car is S reg MV6

Passenger side very lowest corner of the front bumper.

Outside temp sensor has no bearing on the interior climate control  ;)

Outside temp sensor has no bearing on the interior climate control  ;)

I had the same problem, my CID indicated 68° and my climate gave only cold air except if I chose "HI"... I have replaced my outside temp sensor and all problems were resolved!

Im haveing a problem too! The temp sensor is showing F C, I have replaced the temp sensor for a new one from Vauxhall for £8, cleaned the electric contacts but still the same fault,any ideas?

Follow the wiring back, should end at a biggish black multi-plug, then check connections there

Your car is a facelift. OP's isn't and they're different from each other.  ;)

Ah ok, I don't thought it was different on facelift  :)
