xenon bulbs help?

Do these things degrade over time?
The ones on my mig are still factory fitted ones, and they don't seem pretty strong, but the light colour is still ok
Lenses could use a polishing but nothing urgent so I guess the bulbs are not that good anymore. Have no mig with xenons to compare anywhere near here

If by "xenon" you mean HID's ...  Yup .. if they are failing they have a tendency to be "pink" as they fireup, and to take a while to do so.
