Respray Costs
« on: 18 February 2008, 16:12:03 »

..okay i need to get a bumper and bonnet resprayed - both primed ready to go - ie no prep work to remove rust....

Has anyone had recent respray work done or experience of this? What sort of time would it take and what should i expect to pay  :-/

My local Guy works on £80 a panel (all in) and he does a good job.

The fact that yours is primed and ready may or may not make any difference to the sprayer but I would have thought 140 to 180? for both.

I was quoted about £250 for the bonnet alone (including filling in the washer jet holes) It is the biggest panel on the car.
About the same money for some of the other scabs to be sorted out, the positions of which would require new rub strips on the doors. (about £150  :( )
