I know that the front offside HID buld is out & needs to be replaced, would this trigger the message in the title?  :-?

Either one of the two sensors has popped out or the internal adjuster motors have had it/broken

Message simply means the auto level adjust is not happening.

Sensors are front nearside wishbone, easy to see with front nearside wheel off, and rear nearside suspension arm, need to get your head under the car to see that one.

2 things...

Check the fuses first.  I discoverd (my son playing in the car) that if you turn them on and off in rapid succession, the fuses go.  It's the initial switch-on that takes all the power so doing this repeatedly melts the fuse.

Secondly, check the wiring to the sensor on the front wishbone - on mine someone had cable-tied the pad wear sensor cable onto the HID sensor cable in such a way that it was pulling on it every time you turned the steering.  I had already tried replacing the sensor before I realised this!

Oh, one more thing... if you need to replace the front sensor, or even just the link bar, be prepared for the plastic sensor arm to have gone brittle and fall apart in your hands!  Luckily I had decided I'd need both before I started to take it apart - and spotted that the heads of the screws/bolts had rusted to nothing so I had those too.

So, if you decide it needs attention, have a good look at it first and save yourself several trips to the parts desk  ;)
