Did you disconnect the battery when you had the seats out? I can read the airbag codes and clear the light for you but you'll need to cure the problem or the light will just keep coming back.

I have the same problem (caused by switching on the ignition with the airbag disconnected!) can the light be reset without taking to garage?

It needs a code reader of some sort to reset it, you can't get to go out without.  :(

You will need someone with a Tech2 to reset it for you.

There are a few of us on here with that capability, its a case of trying to find out who yor nearest one is, but being in Paignton, Devon, I guess it is unlikely to be me.
