You may have one starting to fail.
A good tap in the dark may make one flicker - otherwise, short of replacing them you might have to wait for it fail properly.

My old 'un gave this a few times before I lost a sidelight - then after driving around for bit (was front - didn't use them) all the messages went away !!!  Hasten to add, did change it later.

Also had this on a txe renault many years ago, talking box kept rabbitting on about the bulb failure (no mute) IIRC it even said which one!  Nothing wrong - change bulb anyway and all okay ever after.  Lovely car - but I had some personal issues with the nice lady in the box.
French accent presumably?  ;D ;)

No I don't mind french!   :o

Fairly neutral if I can remember.  No it was the prgramming and for multi-events sounded like that new train on the overground running through the whole phrase list.
And one or two other bits I'd "improve".

1/ Door not (fully) shut alert would go off - but only after about 10kph, so just when you thought oh must be shut after all, then she 'started'.

Ignore the crap about "extra wires etc" - Vx system intolerant of cheapo bulbs for some reason - especially Halfords!! - use either GM bulbs or Ring (I have used Ring without any problems). :y

Note to Jimbob - number plate bulb doesn't appear to be covered by error message on MID - certainly on minifacelift.

Thanks for all you comments. Does this mean that I have to clean all bulb sockets o do I do a hit-or-miss thing by replacing bulbs one or two at a time?

I'd pop some GM bulbs in and go from there  :y
Best advice IMO. Having had this on my old 2.5 with a warning popping up and a car full of perfectly working lights. It was eventually traced to halfords bulbs not seating in the sockets correctly and also with very soft solder on the bulb pips, or what ever they're called, meaning the spring connector in the bulb socket centre wasn't firm enough connection, hit a bump, the connection is momentarily broken, screech to a halt get out run round the car....nothing all working. Until one day tail light not working, take the bulb out, perfectly complete filaments, put it back in, working again. Closer inspection reveals very tight fit in the light bulb socket, and very worn solder lead/solder pip things on the bulb.

Halfords bulbs mate, shite IMO. Get your bulbs from GM.

Remember, what ever the cause, it's only got to see a break in the circuit, that's all. The connection can be re made after, by accident, does not come into it, all it monitors is the completed circuit, nothing more.

Hth

Also, worth mentioning, take little notice of what "same ip number as rustym95" says, means well I think but unfortunately has confused far too many threads on here to be considered helpful. Sorry Rusty, but we spoke about this before, remember?

We don't discriminate against spelling mistakes, lord knows there are enough on the site...

We DO discriminate against false advice, bodges and general "posting for the sake of it".

There is a major difference in someone giving an opinion or an idea that they believe may help but are unsure of .. along the lines of "I think but not an expert ..." and some of your posts where you try and give the impression of "tablets of stone" ... The idea of a signal wire from the lights being one such, and the continual advice to use "bodges" like radweld etc.

The Forum exists to HELP people .. not to make things worse or to tr and prove how good you are (or not as the case may be).

Sorry to be blunt, but your past record speaks for itself ... and there are far too many people on here with way more knowledge of both internet protocols and the Omega than you have shown. (I'm not in either of those categories mind !!)
