Hello I know this an old topic, but having got the door unlocked on the key, the nagging issue of intermittent electric window persisted, and with a frequent loss of sound from the door speaker (hearing aid is switched on).  Then one night I noticed the puddle light came  on only when the door was fully open  (interior light stayed on). Could be the door wiring not the individual components. And yes there's multi-pin connector behind the cover where the loom goes into the door, what a lot of wires. The plug only didn't fall out because it's tight fit against the A pillar. Sprayed it with contact cleaner and covered it in Contralube. Then refitted it and hey presto everything works. much easier than taking off door trims.  Time for one of these  [smiley=beer.gif] [smiley=beer.gif] [smiley=beer.gif] alright then a couple.
