this has prob been asked many times but how do i get an avatar. i have tried but all i got is an empty box where the pic shud be.  :-/

place an avatar in a place like photobucket and paste the link in your user CP

and for the responses to be fast avatar pic must be small..

You need to Google for Photobucket (unless you are ready have it).
Then you can unload a picture from your computer to Photobucket, where you can right click and copy the "Direct Link" address you have uploaded.
You then go into your options on OOF paste the picture address into the correct box, make sure you tick the box to the left.
You can also write in the box underneath if I remember rightly, that will then show under your Avatar
