immobiliser problem

got a fault with one of my keys it starts the engine but stops again immobiliser light flashing micro switches working  can these be repaired?

sounds like the chip is missing/damaged from inside the key  :-/

Yup, but need reprogramming afterwards, which needs specialist equipment
