brake pad warning

hi  all

 yesterday   changed brake disks and pads    but not sensors as they looked ok       but now ive got message up saying  "  brake pad  "    would i be right in thinking that ive upset sensors or have i done something  else wrong

  ps  brakes work  fine

The light/message appears when the sensor goes open circuit so you've broken one/both of the sensors. Unplug in the wheel arch and short out the plug a side at a time to see which one you've broken.  ;)
