I believe the Go ones are a range for other marques as well, but I don't have any conversion grids :(

The only one listed in the book is:

Ford Focus
1.8 TDi
1999 on
70Amp/hr
Parts Number 93189922
Trade Club Price £52.09 + VAT#

Note: these are no longer Vauxhall Go Batteries but GM OE spec ones

Cheers

Thanks Andy.

I've just noticed that the battery in my Omega is a massive Bosch Silver one which was a distress purchase from Halfords when I bought my Omega.

So, if I put that in the Focus then how much would a suitable Vx battery be for the Omega. It's a 3.0 Elite.

Thanks & happy xmas - Rob

Go for the battery for the 2.5td, they fit and are alot better for the cold when cranking the engine over, they do no harm as i have one fitted to my mig (3.0ltr Elite)

Not sure which is which, but my parts man gave me a TD battery to check for size and it was about 3 inches too long for the battery holder :-?  Could have been something other than a TD battery though.

If you have someone local with a Halfords card, that may well be the cheapest way to go.  I bought one for daughters MG, for £53 vice £88. It has a 3 (or 4) year guarantee. HTH :y

Thanks - so which is the largest capacity which will fit a battery tray on a 3.0 '99 Omega?
