which is why I've left the original lamps in.  ;) ;) ;)

The main beam doesn't improve much on the OE HID dipped.  ;) ;) ;)

Total retail price is £148 +Vat = £177.60 each

WTF Pays to shop around. Paid a vx dealer in Kent £80 inc Vat for a pair of stock clearance ones 18 months ago. Retail at the time was £240 iirc. :-X

You think I didn't shop around  :o Believe you me I tried.
As far as I'm aware nobody has these lamps in stock on the shelf in the UK they have to be ordered in on a special order from the parts warehouse in Germany (but are at least available). Hence there are no special deals  :(. The best I could do was the standardish trade price and American Leyland have now managed to supply me with a working second unit to replace the new lamp with the bust adjuster. If your lucky enough to have a facelift model then the situation is much better but for mini facelift your pretty much stuffed.

You were really lucky to get a pair when you did but most of the Omega's expensive spares now have to be special ordered. At least most items are at the moment still available.  :)
