Multi function radio
« on: 27 March 2011, 22:36:17 »

I switched off the ignition and noticed the radio was still lit up. I turned the ignition back on and the radio wouldnt turn on or off. Switched off the ignition and tried again still nothing and the light permanently on :( Removed fuse no. 20 and the light on the radio went out, replaced and the radio seems to be ok :y Is there still a problem or is this a one off :-?

A radio model number would help ?

Suggest to remove radio for 1 hour, refit, and re-enter code, and see how it goes.

In that case, definately remove radio for 1 hour, refit, and re-enter code - this will reboot it.

Don`t bother removing fuses instead, as does not reboot the radio correctly.

No code on that until, Mr DND ;)

OP - after opening and closing drivers door with the key out of ignition, do windows still work? If so, suspect the ignition switch and/or W contact staying live...
