Big Brother called me from car and said battery light just come on(02 2.2dti estate) needs car for work. He came round to mine car working fine lights on not dim at all, checked aux belt all is fine alternator turning and battery connection tight and good. Turn engine off and try to re-start but no good will not turn over but was running fine and the light has only just come on and he was only 2 miles away when the light came on. Any ideas! have not checked for any codes yet. I am up for work in the morning at 04:30 so will check battery at 19:00 and put on charge. Brother now has my astra and i will have to use the 3.2 for work what a shame. will check this sunday at 19:00 good night all and thanks for any help :-?
