door mirror
« on: 25 April 2011, 21:50:29 »

98 3.0ltr elite,

i tried to change the near side door mirror today, after removing the tweeter and taking the screws out of the mirror i noticed the origional mirror has about seven wires into the plug, the replacement mirror only has five wires to the plug.
i am guessing i have bought a mirror from a lesser model ie gls cd ?

It would appear so, but I'm sure that others have swapped the guts over so that you retain the memory setting on the mirrors.
