CCR2006 CD/CASS/RADIO

HI ALL,MY PROBLEM STARTED WITH MY 3YR OLD PRESSING THE BUTTONS OF MY CDR2005 AND IT STOPPED WORKING.I CHECKED FUSES SUPPLY VOLTAGES ETC BUT NOTHING,STILL NOT WORKING,SO I THOUGHT THE RADIO.GOT MYSELF A CCR2006 PUT IT IN BUT NO DISPLAY HUH?. I'VE GOT A 52 PLATE 2.2 CAN ANYONE HELP??? :-?

it may have a button pushed in all the time that would stop it working,... if can take out and check buttons.. make sure you have the code for it aswell for when putting back in.

firstly i thought that the 2005 and the 2006 had different cages  :-/
it sounds like a missing connection so check connections at back of radio  :y

hi yes i'd thought of that,but the haynes manual shows conn to display the same,also people say it's compatable?
The only puzzling thing is it shows three connections going to display numbers 17,18,22. but socket at back of radio only go up to 20,it's the same for both radios?. cheers
