Prefacelift rear window blind to facelift
« on: 08 August 2011, 14:09:51 »

Hi.

I have a 2003 Omega with a non working rear window blind. In our workshop there is a 1997 Omega with a huge crash. The car is on its way to the scrapyard, but has a working rear window blind.

Can the blind from a 1997 prefacelift be transplated to a 2003 facelift?  ::)

I believe so, although the plug/sockets are likely to be different.  :y

Cool. We'll try to transplat it this afternoon. I'll report the outcome for great justice.

You were right. Exact same blind, different plugs. We've had to do a bit of soldering, but now I have a fully working rear window blind.
