NCDC 2010 update

hi i am running the 2008 version on my car and have seen a 2010 version disk .do i require a seperate disk with the software or will the uk disk go straight on i seem to recall something about a extra disk needed

Assuming its a like for like disk for that model set up, should just go straight in and load its self.

Despite what Navteq say, there is no software update for the NCDC range from about 2006 onwards, just the map updates.

The 2010 disk contains the same software as your 2008 disk, and will update pre 2006 software without any other disk.

The 'update' disk does NOT contain anything for the NCDC series (but does for some other Siemens based systems that use the same map disks)

Oh, and only use genuine Navteq disks, not CDRs, no matter how much you want to 'protect your original'

Thanks for that TB and yes i did learn the hard way £216 in march to have new lasers in the system
but is now working perfectly I know that TMC is not enabled but would like the up to date maps but having said that its never let me down and i am on the 208 maps
