I'm in Glasgow just now, and I'm going to the chippy for a Haggis Supper (Haggis in Batter & Chips) for people down south ;D ;D

the only scottish delicacies I'm aware of are the liquid kind .we went to Embo years ago and did a tour of the local distilleries  god was i ill after too much of a very good thing ; :) :)

The lorne is made by a local butcher and he does not put too much in the way of fat in it.  I think its his own haggis as well, just not quite so sure of all he puts in it...  Still tasty though!!    ;D

I was very dissappointed with the haggis supper I had the other week when I was on my way to Edinburgh, far too dry - Jockanese mother-in-law agreed. The chippy I used to stop at in Biggar seemed to have gone. :(

We've a couple in the freezer at home!  ;) From Costco, they're as nice cold as they are hot.  :y  :y
