« on: 27 February 2008, 15:13:50 »

Hi guys, Im selling my omega elite td its on a w, comes with all the toys.  Ive tried selling it on trader but had no luck.  Anyone interested contact me on info-emg@hotmail.co.uk

Theres no tax or mot though ive never had a problem with it.  Am selling it to buy a bike so would take a part ex on a decent ninja or gixxer.

just a friendly hint, if this is the same advert you placed on trader... no wonder it did not sell.

Think what the buyer wants to know.

EXACT age, not plate!
Colour?
leather/cloth?
Auto/manual?
millage?
problems?
good bits
service history?

and

PICTURES!!!

If you trying to sell a car make some effort.

no tax and mot is a major offputting point

and if its the one you mentioned in the other thread, i cant see the irmscher body kit that you put in its advert

no mot definitely is a put off.  Thats saying there is a problem with it in most peoples eyes.

Think about it - if it needs new rubber, exhaust, wishbones, brakes etc  - you are pushing on for best part of a grands worth of bills to get the MOT.

i hate knocking someones adverts, but having seen yours on pistonheads http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/392154.htm

i'm sorry i have to comment.

3 of the pics are so blurred that you know there is a red car there, but what it is i have no idea.
your write misses out the important stuff, like tax and MOT, i know that you haven't got any, but you won't get any takers.
and the price, i'm sorry mate, with no tax or MOT there is a no chance of even getting close to that, that sort of money is commanded by a car that has 12 month MOT some Tax and a lot less mileage than that.

final tip, 2.5TD engines don't have cambelts, if you have been paying to have them done then someone has been diddling you mate  :y

Unfortunately, I have to agree with Jay W... if that was the going rate for TD's I would have sold mine a long time ago. Take a zero off the end of the price and thats more like it with no Tax or MOT.  :(
