We`ve has the presenters and crew from Channel 5`s
The Gadget Show http://gadgetshow.five.tv/index.htm here on the farm today; I never realised how many people it takes to make a Tv show.
Ten (twelve at lunch time?) of them......so, two day`s shooting for approx. 20 minutes of edited content ready for broadcast:
They`ve dropped a tractor-bucket load of gravel on various mobile phones to see how tough they are.....
'slurried' (don`t ask what-with

) a couple of tents.....and raced/rallied all manner of electric bikes/trikes and carts.
They also went on a
Quad Bike Safari at my friend`s Off-Road Centre; Adventure Mountain
http://www.adventure-mountain.co.uk/My sheepdogs even tried to get in the action by (ahem) 'washing-down' some items left at doggie leg-level by a presenter: `no harm done but lets say she wont be wearing
that hat again!

The director was a bit of a tyrant I must say....so it was only right that he managed to lose his car-keys on the open-hillside; but the sight of the crew walking up and down the field in line-rank searching for those blinking keys for an hour whilst he barked commands from down by the gate will amuse me for ages!

The presenters and crew have been charming and friendly....a nice day to stand and watch how it happens....and the weather was fine too.
The next series of
The Gadget Show begins broadcast from the end of march.
No Omegas (except mine) there; but programme-presenter 'Jon Bentley' does drive a nice new Vx. Vectra I noticed
