Never mind caravans............
« on: 29 February 2008, 16:43:24 »

Got stuck behind a horsebox lorry on the A120 on the way home from work last night in rush hour. 10 miles doing 20-25mph despite 60mph speed limit!! >:( >:(
Caused a massive jam behind and although the road is fairly straight it's almost impossible to overtake as its quite hilly. OK so they're carrying horses but why sooooo slow?

I'll not be so quick in moaning about being stuck behind caravans. ::)
Can't speak for Jaime though!! ;D

They SHOULD try reading the Highway Code, there's a bit in there about slow moving vehicles.
When it's my turn to overtake, i give m some horn & fingers, because of their inconsideration

Couldn't get close enough to overtake - I was about half a mile or so behind in the tailback. >:(

Hey Hey leave my horses alone and get back to picking on pikey wagons - have you tried standing up while being towed at 40mph in a box  ;D ;D

Yes, horseboxes my other pet favourite, esp as we have the hunt on around here still, and I my mum and a brother live just outside Newmarket.  That said brother has a horsebox as well - his previous one even looked like a pikey wagon (white transit flatbed with a pikey blue strip)

They are not horse boxes they are lorries delivering pet food. we have loads round are way and they drivers are more arrogant than bmw drivers and think everyone must move for them.

I love to vent off.

My sister in law rides horses and everytime she mentions them I say kitekat or felix.

i got in to this with a pet food driver on wheels, and she said they drive slowly to avoid the animals banging in to each and breaking ribs,
legs and so on. on the point of pulling over to let faster vehicles past
I quote "i pay my road tax so i'll drive as slow as i like" At that point i walked away, cant argue with an idiot
