 What's the item number  

 Is Bishop Middleham, Co Durham, the back of somewhere far away up north, passed Birmingham etc etc Not to far from J60 A1(M) if memory is right

Birmingham is in the South. Not sure what number North of Darlington, South of Durham. A689 or A177

 Darlington is J57-58 & 59 and Durham is J61 & 62

Then 60 or 61 it must be, I never know the numbers, just where to turn off, depending of comeing from North or South.
Depending on where in Darlington or Durham I am going I may or may not use the motorway. There are A and B routes that can be more direct.

Maybe so, but they got left junctions and roundabouts and other stuff  

Turning left is fine, turning right can be a problem. Remember driving 6 and 8 wheel tippers in Poole Bournemouth areas in 1985, (Drinkwater Sabey)  summer holiday traffic. I was always told never to use your size to get anywhere, not then, turning right you had to push your way out, cars always gave way.

 Yes I can agree with that, I hate to do it but some times it is call for. I have found that if you take no notice of car drivers when turning right some nice Lady driver will always let you go, God bless them
