.......`been to the motor factors and then on to the beautiful west-shore beach at Llandudno to excercise and play frisbee games with the doggies (one of which is celebrating his 6th birthday today).....`tide was miles-out and whole beach was just for us!  ;D

A lovely, bright and sunny day; and a beautiful 60 mile drive through the mountains of Snowdonia....with the 'Pat Metheny Group' playing jazz on CD ...Brill! :y
Llandudno rocks :y

you know , there was a time when i NEVER thought i'd say this, but I miss the place...

(Lived in Old Colwyn, Worked in Llandudno, for many years)

it's nice enough if you can avoid being mugged by the flying rats Seagulls.

Treaddur Bay is nicer though !

Been round "cliff bends" this morning,

Been in them twice tonight, just got home from the cinema and a curry

by god the omega does pull like a train :)

Great fun watching two muppets (306 and Saxo) full of chavs "playing" with the traffic, then burning the pair of them off.

Seemed to impress the date though :)

MANY years back, before I got old and slow and somewhat more sensible, I used to challenge myself to get round the outside cliff face bends at over 70 while staying in one lane... (in Senators)

:D

The Coast road down past Caernafon, towards Nefyn /Pwllheli is good omega stomping ground... as is the road off there where it splits for Nefyn/Pwllheli ...

,The north side of Ynys Mon , round Benllech, & Amlwch has some great bits as well :D

I used to get from the House in old Colwyn to my mate's  Studio in Treaddur bay in about an hour, I once did it in 45 minutes late at night :D

that was Before the A55 was dual alll the way across the island as well !

Since then I've done Prestatyn to the ferry terminal in Holyhead in under an hour.

(on my way to a studio in Galway)

rumour has it they're finally going to spoil all that open road with cameras!
