looking for a cheep spare key, thoughts welcome

priced up a new key at vauxhall,
 :-/

remote section, 27.55 +vat
blade, 45.00 +vat
coding, 25.00 +vat.
total 114.62

solution???????
remote section from vauxhall 27.55 +vat
blade from locksmith £10 cut
vauxhall to code it, 25.00 +vat
total 71.75

amount saved 42.87   :y

if i have missed something please feel free to point it out or its not as easy as this please let me know

second hand but good condition fob from ebay, reprogrammed by TheBoy, but the blade from the local locksmith should be fine :D

make sure the blade comes with transponder - the ones I sell do, but worth checking.

Not directly - I 'stock' them for when I program keys etc, if people want spare keys.

There appear to be 3 different type of these.  >:( At that price, probably makes more sense to buy the correct one new from the dealer. If you do buy from e-bay ensure it's the right one.  ::)

they want £45 for a new fob, they are only 27.55 from vauxhall dealers, cheaper to go to the main dealer
