second hand but good condition fob from ebay, reprogrammed by TheBoy, but the blade from the local locksmith should be fine

Not directly - I 'stock' them for when I program keys etc, if people want spare keys.

There appear to be 3 different type of these.   At that price, probably makes more sense to buy the correct one new from the dealer. If you do buy from e-bay ensure it's the right one.

they want £45 for a new fob, they are only 27.55 from vauxhall dealers, cheaper to go to the main dealer
