6k ??  :o :o :o

I know its a 2003, but  just be aware that in 2 weeks it will be worth 1k...

Personally, i would spend no more than 2k on ANY Omega, no matter how good it is.

It seems all it's money but if the mileage is right, it's a late model so would maybe pay itself if it's a long term car. Are you p/exing Mrs Miggys Corsa or buying one & selling the other?
My only worry in your case is all your cars are black!!!!! :y

If the car is as good as it looks and cam belt changed etc then i will buy it and sell Mrs Miggys Corsa private.

Silver does look good though

cambelt isnt due for 8k tho..

 :y :y well spotted

Cambelt is OVERDUE, 40k OR 4 years, early 2003 car should have been changed last year

even better spotted!! :y ;D

Vectra 2.2's are chain (early ones had a nasty lubrication fault which caused a lot of problems. (Z22SE)

It's a different Engine to the Belt driven 2.2 Omega (Z22XE)

It's a nice looking car, I'll give you that!

One issue, that may or may not bother you, is it looks a fast car with the twin exhaust and debadged..

This may attract attention from people wanting to 'play'  which I'm sorry to say the car won't do to well in :(

The 2.2 is by no means sluggish, but you may be fairly surprised at just how it compares to your 2.6.

That said and done, it may be the looks that are more important to you,  if not, you could always swap the kit over to a more powerful car if you werent to happy with the performance.

Thanks Jimbob, the car will be for Mrs Miggy, she aint one for toeing it, she will be happy, it will be a big difference from her 1.4 Corsa. :y :y, she will have 144 bhp to play with. ;D ;D

2.2 still not bad, as someone said an economical MV6, Mrs Miggy will be well pleased. :y

Make sure they do the full cambelt kit, aux belt, and water pump at the same time, else the job's not worth doing :y
