omega help.

Hello all. I've been to see an omega and it was a pleasure to drive. My only issue was that the steering pulled to the left for some odd reason.  The car was nice with full leathers manual and fsh.  Im just a bit worried about the streeing incase it leads to more trouble.  The guy is keen on a swap but it has to be right or a cheap fix
Can anyone help?

the steering components are a bit complex on the omega, and after any worn parts are replaced you need to have a full geometry check which includes checking camber,not just the usual tracking.  :y

may be worth checking the wishbones as they are a common failure on the omega ;)

Is it expensive as im trying to keep costs down if i choose to swap it

Around £80 i think for a full set up.  :y

Thats not too bad. I wish I had someone to take a look so I can determine the extent of the problem. Its not major but an annoyance as I like my cars to go straight lol

There are some OOF Technicians On the forum who may be able to help. Mainly around the Central Parts of England. Darth loo Knee aka Daz (Stoke) Elite Pete (Northwich) and Welung666 (Lee in Dudley, West Mids)

I've got a mechanic but hes always busy. I beleive the car is a bargain and has loads of history etc. Just needs a tiny bit of tlc and it will be perfect.

Hello Tony2. I got the car today.  It turns out the tyre was quite flat 6psi infact.  Drove it today and it it fine now. Its sat on my drive as we type.  I would still like to meet fellow omega owners such as yourself though and i appreciate the offer  regards
