A different car...
« on: 08 March 2008, 16:19:23 »

I've currently got a 2008 08 plate Metallic Black Vectra Manual SRi with Variable Valve Timing. With those amazing alloy wheels.

What can I say, it's a STUNNING car, VX have really got this one right....

Apart from not being rear wheel drive, it does demonstrate some torque steer when the foot is planted down, and revs up to 8,000 rpm.

It does about 40mpg, and seems to easily be as quick as the 2.5 V6 Omega.

When I collected it, it had delivery mileage (14 miles). Now has 101 miles on the clock ;D

Just because the technical spec and RPM gauge say 8,000 rpm, doesn't mean I've taken it that high  :y

(I chickened out at 7,000!)  ;D

And yes, it is going back to enterprise rent-a-car next week  :'( :'(
