It also ensures that the car is registered as dual fuel so insurance companies cannot argue at a later date ... I found it actually made it easier to get insurance once the register stated dual fuel than when I was trying before it went on. All they wanted then was sheets of paperwork confirming the conversion, who did it etc etc etc... now the DVLA have "approved" the conversion it is taken as read ... :)

The last two insurance covers I have had as well as going through the go compare confused supermarket trip did not require any "proof" of approved LPG it was just taken as included when ticked. I was a little suprised i must say.  ::)

Saying all that I have not had to claim yet. :o That I know will be a whole new paperwork game as you say  ::)

Must get on with these invoices. I spend more time on here than anything else.  :D :D ;D ;D ;D shmbo is calling herself an OOF widow  ;D ;D

It probably cost me £30 is gas and stamps dealing with the useless rather retards.

Expect the DVLA to contact you, asking for proof of LPG, before getting your V5 back.

Pre 2001 cars don't get any duel fuel discount.
