« on: 07 October 2011, 18:51:21 »

can't have no more as I've been in constant pain all week where they did my spine. now having 6 monthly pain relief injections so will be totally fit for work when i go back hopefully after my court sentencing next Friday. gettin a bit sick of the way everything has gone the last yr at that hospital.  they wonder why I've had a frigging breakdown.  :(

Have you considered finding out about what choices are available to you in terms of other hospitals??  sounds like you're having no fun at all.....     it might be that someone better able to deal with your problems happens to work at the next place up the road.....     the Nuffield Hosptial in oxford has an excellent re-enablement centre,  and physioterrorists, pain management people, and so on....  i got MUCH better care, and was able to do a LOT more after getting care there , as opposed to my previous experiences in Liverpool and North Wales...  which were nothing short of abysmal.

(I broke my neck in 89,  and as result my spine and shoulders give me no end of grief ...  pain is a daily experience,  and movement is often excruciating if i've been overdoing it , not paying attention to it....   )

the consultant i see in may gave me 3 injections in the shoulder muscles. worked beautifully  and still ok now. being referred back to him to have lower back done this time. if i go elsewhere i may have to wait ages and start all over again.can't understand why they didn't do this in the first place. seems a waste of time for me and them.
