Nope, he's a Footballer. Didn't get where he is by being a roll model, polite, or uncompetitive.

Not a pleasant individual particularly by the looks, but I don't know him, and nor does anyone here I would guess? Hmm?  ::)

Remember Beckham getting sent off and very similar comments being banded about. Becks clearly is not deserving either, he lashed out on the edge of a competitive situation.

I defy any of yous lot not to have done or do similar in competition on occasion if pushed. He lashed out, he'll learn....

He was caught shagging 'old sorts' when on World Cup duty in SA and he was absolute crap over there.And it we'rnt the first time he's been caught shagging old sorts.He's defo got an atitude problem.Beckham to be fair made one mistake of petulence and soon made up for that ten fold.Rooney was a good player but has got far to big of his own importance and England would be better off without him and the same goes for Terry and Lumplard as well particularly terry who is from another seriously disfunctional family,and greed gets the better of em all.

I believe so yar. Simple writing them off as arrogant, over paid thugs or whatever...seems overly simplistic to me.

Imagine being slated all over the back pages for being sent off while playing a park game millions watch. You'll see far worse in most Sunday league matches.
