It's easy enough to change - you will need a complete new lever assemby which will cost about £30.

The only fiddly bit is drilling out the pop-rivets and replacing them. Pop rivets are not nice (IMHO) so just be careful  :y

The other option is to just live with it.

That's the advice I was given when mine went. I would have been a bit hacked off after the grief in changing the solenoid - which it was.

Whoa!!! Steady on Rob!  ;D ;D ;D You've gone straight for replacement of the solenoid, it's usually the brake light switch that goes t1ts up.  :y :y
