Front wings
« on: 18 October 2011, 21:29:00 »

Could someone tell me if there is any different between the front wings used on the different Omega models (pre-facelift, facelift, saloon, estate, etc).  Her indoors has had an unfortunate encounter with a Freelander on a Devon lane which means I need to replace the driver's side wing (and possibly the bonnet), so I want to know what options are available.

If anyone knows of a champagne gold (code Z489, I think) OS wing for a 1998 2.5 V6 that's for sale cheap anywhere please let me know - I've tried Omegaspareparts and Breakersyard.com but have had no luck so far.  Thought I'd found one on fleaBay but although photo was of an OS wing listing was for the NS!!  :(

Depends if anyone wants it as a whole. It`ll be advertised at top dollar though so that rules out most ::) ;D

I wish you luck!

I've had my eye out for a champagne pfl bonnet for nearly 3 years. Either there weren't many made or I've not been looking at the right time in the right place. Now the rest of the car is catching up with the bonnet, so don't think I'll bother.

You get a different kind of respect when you drive a minger :D

Sadly I'm unable to post a wanted ad on this site as a minimum of 250 posts are required before this is allowed.  Shame as that is a really useful part of the site.  I've got another 210 posts to go before I qualify - I suppose I could sit up all night posting garbage, hmmmm.......
