I hate travelling alone now

Not the actual travelling, but staying away in a hotel on your own is depressing ::)

Nothing worse than sitting down for dinner on your own, which I suppose I'll have to do shortly ::)

Although there are a couple of reasonable looking Curry houses nearby :-X ::)

Strange really... Used to love having to go away and stay in a hotel for any reason. Nowadays I'd rather be at home with my own bed ::) ::)

I should add that I wasn't expecting to get any sympathy, I already know where to find it in the dictionary ;) ;)

What's more frustrating is the WiFi (although it's nice to get it ::))... Keeps dropping out and slower than mine at home, which I didn't think was possible any more ;D ;D

I share the feeling old bean.....  I hate working away from home,   never get a decent nights sleep,  miss the "comforts" of home too much...

(that said , the mrs is working nights at the moment,  it's much the same as me working away, i hate it.....     )

on the up side,  you don;t have to cook, or wash up....

not much of an upside (especially for dishwasher owners .....)

Not much of an upside indeed. Cooking is a "Pink" job and loading the dishwasher's not exactly a hardship ::)

Doubt she'll enjoy it much either as I haven't done a night shift for 11 months ::)

It's fine when you have company though, which she will :y

TBH, it's probably because I've been knocking about here all day

no arguing from folks and / or girlfriend. no cooking. no washing up. no house work. no stress.

i actually am the opposite to you by the sounds of it.... i need time on my own and unless i'm in the bog i aint gettin enough of it lately.  >:(
