The worlds first disc jockey, at a dancehall in Leeds using his mothers record player. Caused an outrage with the musicians union who until his innovation all music was played live.

I hate to see anyone pass away :( but I have to be honest, I could not stand the bloke. I appreciate what he did with his charity work (Stoke Mandeville, etc) and I applaud him for that, he was second to none.....but to watch him on the telly was, to me was......excrutiating :)
