DISGUSTED AT THIS COUNTRY!! In May 2010, Tohseef Shah spray painted a British War Memorial with "islam will dominate osama is coming" he was fined £50 & walked free from court. In November 2010, Emdadur Choudhury burned a Poppy during the 2mins silence. He too was given a £50 fine and walked free from court Today, 2 men have been sentenced to 12 months in prison for spray painting a Poppy on a mosque. Welcome to the Great British justice system. Disgusting....

Whilst it wouldn't surprise me, I think is is probably a hoax I received an EMail message about it weeks ago, and chose to ignore it.

British Justice does stink, the judges should be controlled, and their stupid judgements challenged. If any judgement is overturned then the original judge should be sacked. That would concentate the mind, and sentencing

The 12 months was NOT for spraying a poppy on a mosque, but as most won't even bother to read the article .....

Steven James Vasey and Anthony Donald Smith, the two men sentenced to 12 months prison, did more than just spray poppies and political messages on the mosque. They also defaced a nearby store and guest house, both of which were owned by Asian businessmen. And an upstairs window on the store was smashed with a brick. Ironically, the store was reportedly selling Remembrance Day poppies at the time of the attack. Other evidence showed that the men had planned the attack beforehand.

Thus, the attack was considered to be racially motivated. The men admitted conspiracy to commit racially aggravated criminal damage and were sentenced accordingly. But, apparently, a lack of evidence and vagaries of the law meant that Tohseef Shah was not charged with committing a religious or racially motivated crime. It was instead decided that the man's actions were politically (as opposed to religiously) motivated and the Crown Prosecution Service thus convicted him of just criminal damage. Poppy burner, Emdadur Choudhur, was only charged with a public order offence although the judge who presided over the case has been castigated in the press for not handing down a stiffer penalty.

I notice how when the 'British' men damaged the shop, that's the first mention of racial attacks. However I can the mention of the two 'non-British' men spraying on a war memorial and burning a poppy being classed as not a racial attack. Then again it would seem the 'Racist card' only works one way.

This to me would be classed as being 'racist', racially motivated, meaning that they defaced the shop etc because of the race of the people.

Tohseef Shah was not charged with committing a religious or racially motivated crime

And this to me, would see the chap mentioned not being 'racist' apparently, because he wasn't charged with a racially motivated crime.

Maybe that's just my stupid misguided and of but of course racist opinion.
